【星島綜合報道】多倫多西區周三（27日）下午發生儲物棚火警，現場存放多輛電動單車（e-bike），消防人員事後檢走至少3輛電動單車電池調查。
多倫多消防局（Toronto Fire Services）表示，火警於下午2時30分後不久發生，地點位於Roncesvalles Avenue夾The Queensway附近一間住宅後方的獨立儲物棚。

消防到場時發現儲物棚冒出濃煙，其後迅速將火勢撲滅，火警未有蔓延至其他建築物。
消防表示，工作人員在棚內發現至少3輛電動單車，並已將相關鋰電池移走及作安全處理。
消防局其後已通知調查組跟進。當局表示，目前仍未確定火警起因及具體情況，事件中無人受傷。
多倫多消防總長Jim Jessop其後在社交平台發文指出，鋰離子電池安全問題值得關注。
